The iPad seems to be a commercial success for Apple. The Internet Tablet American manufacturer has sold 300 000 copies, the first day of its launch.
The device, half way between a smartphone and a laptop, has begun to attract competition.
According to Ashok Kumar, an analyst at Rodman & Renshaw, Nokia would work, right now, to design an Internet tablet.
Ashok Kumar believes that the Nokia tablet could be marketed this year.
"Right now, the supply chain of the Nokia tablet is being calibrated for release in autumn. It will be on shelves by September to be available in October for the holidays, "said Ashok Kumar.
